John Crumplin
John Crumplin (born 26 May 1967 in Bath) is a former professional football player who played for the English club Brighton & Hove Albion in the late 80s and early 90s.
He signed for the Seagulls from non-league Bognor Regis Town in March 1987, making his debut in a 2-1 home defeat against Ipswich Town and supplied the cross from which Steve Gatting headed Brighton in front.
In 1997 he helped win the FA Trophy while playing with Woking.
Crumplin became the maanger of Crawley Down Village, and quit to join Ringmer when they could not go up into the Isthmian League due to their facilities. He led them to win the Sussex RUR Cup, to the final of the Sussex Senior Cup (losing 2-0 to Crawley Town) and to finish runners-up in County League Division One.Before that he had cut his teeth as a manager at Selsey for two season as player manager and Three Bridges, played at St Leonards and Lewes as player trainer, where he was also physio.
He was appointed manager of Redhill in October 2008, then took over as manager at Walton and Hersham, but parted company with the club early in the 2010–11 season.
